Chris Vander Putten is a film critic and aspiring fiction writer. He is a self proclaimed expert on the horror genre. He will tell you anything you want to know about horror, whether it is books, films, comics, you name it. Academically, Chris holds a BA in Folklore Studies and can tell you anything you want to know about fairy tales, really, anything. He started Efficacious Nonsense in an attempt to do something with the opinions he has developed on film, music, and art over the years. Chris operates the blog here at EN and hopes to expand the project into further venues. Chris also like bios written in the third person because they make him sound professional.

you are silly ya know that?

the only movie worth seeing from Lem’s work is “Solaris” (the original)
Lem’s writing is a more personal and reflective Sci-fi, closer to the “Hard Sci-Fi” that truly defines the genre. Both, i believe anyway, have their place
